“Walk in my Shoes”

Yesterday I had the opportunity to walk with Lauren Book founder of Laurenskids for the Bradenton segment of their annual Walk in My Shoes walk to start off National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. She starts off the walk in Key West and ends in Tallahassee. The Bradenton portion of the walk was 30 miles. Of course I could never make it that far, but I enjoyed the time I did get to walk.

It is such a great inspiration to be able to meet and walk with other survivors of CSA. People who are walking to help make a difference and bring awareness, like Ken Followell of Male Survivors.

I might add more to this later, but for now I just want to say I feel good!

Everybody hang in there, it does get better.

About Avictimnomore

Lost soul, trying to find myself. Trying to learn to be a survivor of child sexual abuse, the death of my parents when I was a teen, and being disowned by my remaining family.
